The village of Agia Marina is located about 10 km west of the city of Chania and is one of the most cosmopolitan and developed resorts in Chania. It stands between Stalos to the east and Platanias to the west. Its sandy beach is well organized with numerous beach bars and is about 2 km long. Artifacts dating back to the Minoan and Roman times have been found in the village. Across the beach, you can see the island of Thodorou, as the locals call them. In the village, you can find numerous hotels, restaurants modern and traditional, clubs, bars, cafes and all the necessary amenities. There is a regular bus service to Chania.
